Udayan Burma, based out of Canada is a highly accomplished risk management professional with over 36 years of diverse and intense experience in PSU, Private sector and MNC companies in India and Overseas. Udayan has partnered with legal counsels on numerous litigation cases solving contentious issues and problems across different industry sectors.

He is credited with managing and servicing some of the high value complex risks for entities like Qatar Petroleum(asset value USD30Bln), Ras Gas(USD16Bln), Qatar Gas(USD12Bln), QPI- Centrica, Maersk Oil(USD5Bln), Shell GTL, Oryx GTL(2,5bln), Dolphin Energy and QChem, RLOC, QAPCO(USD2.8Bln),QAFCO( USD4Bln ), QAFAC( USD1Bln ),QVC (USD1Bln) Masaeed Power, QEWC-Laffan Power, Q-Power(USD5Bln), Qatar Aluminium, Qatar Steel placing these programs with top global financial institutions.

TPA Narayanan, Executive Director, is an FCA and carries with him a rich, diverse and in-depth experience of more than 34 years across the entire gamut of Finance, Corporate Taxation, Treasury Management, Fund Raising, Company Law Matters, Capital Advisory, Fund Raising & Investments, Compliance, Risk Management, Working Capital, Project Finance, Commercial matters relating to Export/Import and Anti-Dumping proceedings and M&A.

He has anchored the Ind-AS and IFRS implementation in different entities and piloted the implementation of IFRS compliant accounts for consolidation with a parent company listed at LSE.

As Executive Director and Member of Board of Directors of MDL India Private Limited (Part of MDL Group, Brazil), he played a key role in India operations of the company. He was CFO of  SE Forge Ltd.(Suzlon Group) and worked in different roles with corporate entities like ZF Wind Power, Continental Carbon India Limited, Pharmacia/Pfizer, Bharti Airtel, HCL Comnet etc



Shreesh Sarvagya

Shreesh Sarvagya, an MA in Communications from John Hopkins University, USA, MA in English Literature from Hindu College, University of Delhi is an accomplished communications expert having more than 30 years of experience in corporate communication. He has worked with Hindustan Diamond Company, Datamatics Ltd, Patni Computer (now IGate), National Dairy Development Board and Reliance Industries Ltd.

Shreesh is an acclaimed expert in strategic planning, leadership coaching, Marketing and CSR communication, branding, corporate affairs, writing, journalism, public relations, editing and publishing and a business adviser. With more than three decades in leadership roles, he has vast experience spanning sectors such as Life Sciences, IT, Telecom, Dairy, Agri-business, Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Sports, Retail and CSR providing him with an opportunity to interact with large number of top CEOs of Indian and Global entities as well as top government officials in India and overseas.

He has worked with some of India’s best known business/social leaders owing to his mastery over finer nuances of perception, employee engagement and reputation management.

As Head of Internal Communications (RIL Group), Communication Leader for Reliance Foundation and Communications Resource in the Chairman’s Office, Shreesh managed group level internal communications, key media relations, supported senior-most members of the corporate affairs team, edited and managed Infocomm’s weekly magazine, the employee family magazine, as well as external communication to the organization’s 18000-strong developer program community. He Launched and managed various group level communication initiatives, as Chief Editor of RIL Group Newsletter. Shreesh also managed Sports Communication (Indian Premier League), Social Media, CSR Communication (for Reliance Foundation) and employee-family communication.

His key role included managing the RIL Chairman’s Communication needs, such as preparing talking points for him, translating his vision for 80000+ employees through internal communication platforms, creating and collating external communication opportunities and providing editorial oversight on all communication initiated by the Chairman’s Office. Highlighting Reliance Foundation work to all internal and external stakeholders across India

His accomplishments include conceptualizing, creating, editing and publishing an 18-24 page newsmagazine electronically circulated to 80000+ employees and consultants of RIL every fortnight. He created a vast network of correspondents in RIL to collate and parse relevant information as well as conceptualized the biggest Group-wide employee engagement program and helped implement it. He helped other Groups within RIL to run their own mini newsletters and conceptualize and created a by-the-women-for-the- women monthly to promote women’s empowerment, trained a couple of women colleagues to lead it and handed it over to them (The magazine, titled World of Women or WOW@Reliance, is operational even now). He was the architect of ‘The Change Maker’, a one-of-a-kind printed newsmagazine to highlight the accomplishments of Reliance Foundation.

He is credited with launching and running bilateral trade journals in association with foreign embassies and launched four business publications, namely Indo-US Business; Indo-Swiss Business; Indo-South Africa Business and Trade Links - a quarterly for the Indo-Canadian Business Council (Re-launched) to promote trade between India and the targeted countries.

Shreesh is Publisher & Editor of The Business Matchmaker a unique international monthly, simultaneously published from Mumbai and Detroit. In his role as a Communications Consultant/ and an International Marketing Expert, he is advising a number of entities across industry sectors.

Presently, he is the CEO for International Commission for Development.

He is also a Visiting Faculty at IIM-Rohtak and IIM-Lucknow

V K Dassani

Executive Director - Power (Thermal, Gas, Renewable Energy) , Infrastructure & Construction

Mr. V K Dassani began his career with NTPC in the year 1980 at Korba, immediately after completing mechanical engineering from NIT Raipur. During his distinguished career spanning 38 years with NTPC, Mr. Dassani gained extensive hands-on experience in Operations and Maintenance at various thermal and gas power plants in India. He has in-depth exposure in areas such as Contracts and Materials Management in Power plants, Purchase, Systems and Inventory Management, Steel & Coal Procurement, Risk Management, ERP/SAP, Stores Management, Inventory Management, Import and Exports, Obsolete, surplus, Non-moving items and Scrap Management, Vendor Registration and Risk Management during his stints in different departments of NTPC including at NTPC Corporate Centre. He has trained and nurtured numerous plant and trainee executives in NTPC.

He had worked with the Consultancy wing of NTPC as Addl. General Manager and HOD (Contracts and Materials). Subsequently, he worked with the NTPC SAIL Power Company Ltd as General Manager (Contracts and Materials). Several R&M Contracts, ERP/SAP system in NSPCL, EPC Packages of Rourkela PP-II Expansion (1x250 MW), Durgapur PP-III (2x20 MW) EPC Packages of Durgapur Solar (20 MW), Salem Solar (50 MW) and Bhilai Solar (7 MW) were awarded and implemented/under implementation during his tenure.  

He has undergone various specialized courses on power plant maintenance at CEGB UK,  at Tata Power’s Trombay Station for 200 MW and 500 MW and “Risk Management and Loss Prevention” at Swiss Re, Zurich.

Mr. Dassani is well respected in the Power Sector for his deep knowledge of O&M, Contracts, and Materials as well as in the Risk Management Industry.
